1. Overview
1.1. The Society is governed by a formal Constitutions, copies of which may be obtained on request.
1.2. These Rules are set by the Committee of the Society and may be changed at any time at the Committee's discretion. Updates will be made to the copy of the Rules on the Society's website.
2. Membership
2.1 Membership of the Society shall be open to any person interested in furthering the objects of the Society, and who has paid the annual subscription at the appropriate rate or rates as shall be determined by the Committee, all subscriptions being payable in advance.
2.2 Membership runs for one year from August through July.
2.3 The current Membership Fee is £2.00
2.4. Any person eligible for membership may become a member by writing to the Secretary or by joining via the online sign-up process on the Society website.
2.5. Exceptionally, membership may be refused at the Secretary's or Committee's discretion.
2.6. Any member may leave the society by writing to the Secretary, and in exceptional circumstance the Secretary may expel a member at their discretion. Membership shall be terminated if a member fails to pay the annual fee, although the Secretary may exercise their discretion on this matter.
2.7. Members may apply to the Secretary to receive a membership card, to supply proof of membership.
3. Events
3.1 All attendees at Society events must be Members of the Society except in special circumstances, such as a Children's Matinee where the Committee shall waive this requirement.
3.2 Tickets and Membership Fees must be paid in full in advance.
3.3 Tickets once issued and paid for are non-refundable. Tickets may be transferred to other Members for the same performance but may not be used for other events.
3.4 Tickets reserved (whether online or by other means) and not paid for within 5 business days will be automatically cancelled.
4. Privacy
4.1 The Society may use photography, video or audio recording during the performances and these materials may be used by the Society for promotional or other uses. Members grant the Society permission to use these materials in any form. However, a member may request the cessation or removal of a specific material including their likeness and the Society will endeavour to honour such request.
