Lauded for his technical proficiency, originality and "inexhaustible imagination", Kazakh-born and London-based Samson Tsoy is committed to connecting and building trust with audiences, be they in prestigious concert halls around the world such as the Barbican, Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Théâtre de la Ville and Salle Gaveau in Paris, Berlin’s Konzerthaus, or a makeshift venue at a multi-story carpark, or just here at Breinton. His approach to each programme and venue is meticulous and for Breinton he has created an innovative programme like no other – a cluster of precious short gems on the theme "A Voice in the Distance" in the first half and, in the second half, Brahms Piano Sonata No. 3, a massive, five-movement work of symphonic proportions, representing a peak of early Romantic piano literature.
